Good place to Learn ballroom in London?

Hi, I searched the web for a good venue to learn beginners ballroom in London, but there are just so many results, it is difficult to make an informed choice; could someone give me some direction - where is good for ballroom lessons in London? - I'm not expecting to get to a competetive standard, but would like to learn enough to be able to hold-my-own on the dancefloor.

Peter what I think is so sad is that some people write about being "positive" etc and yet no one in UK can try to give you constructive and positive help.

 

What standard dancer are you?  Have you had any lessons at all?  Which part of London do you live?  Is travel difficult?  Are you wanting private lessons or just a group class?

Let me know and I will see what I can find for you amongst my UK friends.

 

Good Luck and can I say it is great to see people interested in dance.

Hi, and don't worry - I wasn't expecting an immediate reply! - thanks for your input though.

My experience is pretty much nil; so I guess some private lessons might be a good idea to start with, but I don't might group lessons - it might be a good way to learn. Anywhere in London is fine, within reason, but ideally reasonably central would be good.
